  Excellent book on techniques in pencil drawing. Can help beginners or more experienced artists. Has many animal and human drawings, showing the process from beginning to end of project. Has list and explanation of tools needed and how each is used. At age 62, I have been drawing for all my life, went to art schools and private tutors, but still learned a great deal from this book. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone wanting to draw better portraits of people or animals.

  it had a variety of different style of clothing, most of which i would not reference because it's more americanized style clothing and i'm into more fantasy. but anyone would appreciate it as a reference :D

  This book is excellent just as descried, It is easy to follow and has great tips for beginners and advanced skills. Bought one for myself and gave one as a gift. Love it.

  A good instructional book for many level of pastel artists who are continually attempting to find the right mix of colors for their work. The wheel is perfect on the cover and is sturdy. I will be utilizing it whenever I am in a corner on my work.
