The best bird guide
I am an amateur bird-watcher since many years, and the Stokes field guides are the best books I have used. I also have the Western edition, which is worn and dog-eared from constant use. Their books contain lots of information, including maps of migratory patterns which are found on each individual page. I recommend the Stokes books for both the beginning and experienced birder.
