Another great King movie. I've been told that this version "explains" the first Shining movie with Jack Nicholson. I have found that to be true in most of the movie. This version is long, but worth the time. A lot of detail went into this movie. Can you find Stephen King? I did. Both versions should be watched more than a couple of times to insure that you catch everything.

I think that this movie is one of the best movies of the Stephen King movie collection. It is one of the longest movies, but once you get into it you will be hooked. Time will fly by watching this movie. Also, "Rose Red" is another good movie. Followed by "Storm of the Century".
