It`s a searing pain, an earth-shattering sadness, that comes through on the mournful, haunted record, his second post-incarceration. Tracks like "Swim," the title track, and "The Ghost," emanate loss with a dark eloquence on the MC`s most mature record to date. It`s not an easy listen (it rivals the Geto Boys for sheer horror), but it`s a stirring portrait of a dream decapitated.
