Review of Steely Dan for Guitar DVD
This DVD purported to teach you 4 songs from the Steely DAn repertoire (i.e. Do it Again, Reelin' in the Years, Rikki Don't Lose that Number, and Deacon Blues). This DVD does exactly what it promises by breaking each song down into small sections and teaching you each of these sections. Then the parts are brought together to make up the desired whole. I think even some one who hadn't been playing guitar a long time, but had a lot of patience could learn to play these songs. The skills, chords, and lines they would pick up in learning to do so would greatly accelerate their guitar understanding and abilities. The seller did an excellent job of packing, delivery, etc. I would deal with them again.
