I read other reviews before purchasing this book as a gift, being that I was not familiar with the title. I took a chance and ordered one as a gift and one for myself to read to my 4 year old daughter. I was so pleased. It is such a sweet book that sends such an emotional message, but in such a simple way. My daughter asks me to read it over and over. It definitely brought tears to my eyes while reading it. The person that received it as a gift, absolutely loved it. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to give a special gift for a baby girl or anyone who has a daughter.

I cried the first three times I read this to my children! The pictures are cute; the story is poetic and fun. I have literally hundreds of children books and four children whom I read to daily; this was instantly one of my favorites.

Great book for a mom to keep for her daughter. Everytime I read it, my eyes well up with tears. A pull on your heartstrings book, especially if you are a new mother to a baby girl.
