This is a very interesting book chronicling a project where American school kid collect 6-million paperclips representing the Jews who died in the Holocaust. Often forgotten at the other 6-million Christian clergy, the infirm, the mentally ill and the thousands who tried to help the Jews, but that is another book. This also tells how the school and a couple living in Germany collaborate to find a 1930’s railcar, like the thousands used to transport people to the concentration camps, to house the 6-million paperclips. They ship is to the small school where a memorial garden has been set to receive it. Shipping the car is one of the many hurdles this group must overcome. The book is very good but be sure to get the DVD documentary movie by the same name.
