This book is exactly what I hoped it would be. The pictures and instructions are very well done. The author is the foremost expert on silver filigree work. Sometimes expertise doesn't translate well in a teaching manual, but it's great in this case. Also, the resources listed in the book are accessible and affordable. I've wanted to get started doing filigree work for a while, but couldn't find a seminar or good manual, OR the resources available. The filigree wire is difficult to find in North America, but now I know the how, why, what and where--thanks to the who.
