It will protect your game but if the game is black, it shows thru the pink and looks funny.

My grandson had dropped and broken his DS Lite, so I bought him a new one from Overstock. But, this time I also bought him this silicone skin to protect the case from scratches and falls. I was a little skeptical because it was hard to tell online how it really looked. Well, to my surprise it fit absolutely perfect. It covered the buttons like a skin. It feels soft and yet strong. I am so pleased and so is my grandson. I plan to buy a white one for my granddaughter. This is a terrific product with a terrific price.Thanks again Overstock.
