As a true fan of Sherlock Holmes I was glad to be able to get these early episodes in one complete set. It's always interesting to see how each actor handles the part.

This collection is for all the Sherlock Holmes fans. I truly enjoyed Ronald Howard as Holmes. The price for this series is excellent. Truly entertaining. A must have for all Sherlock Fans!

My grandmother is a huge Sherlock Holmes fan, she reads Doyle's stories over and over again. We have fun watching these episodes together, and laugh at how corny 50's television was!

Having read all of the Sherlock Holmes works, I thought the TV version might not be as good. I was wrong. This old black and white series (BBC-1955/56) stars Ronald Howard, son of Leslie Howard of Gone With the Wind fame (Ashley Wilkes). Excellent actor, writing, has comedic twist that books lack. Very enjoyable!
