Shameless: The Complete First Season
Definitely not for kids as their are many "R" rated scenes, language and content type- the Gallagher family is a dysfunctional disaster with a constantly drunk daddy Frank (William H. Macy). The motherless bunch survives because of big sister Fiona (Emmy Rossum) is in charge. The kids are all the main bread winners while still managing to go to school. They live in the projects and contribute by working odd jobs, scraping pennies just to pay the electric bill while Frank spends his disability check (headless chicken accident at a slaughterhouse after one week on the job) on booze. It's an extremely funny and quirky comedy but some may find it shocking.
