This is an awesome read, I have learned so many different things. It is user friendly and I could'nt be happier with my purchase. Oh yes I could, I could have her with me. BUT it is what it is.You learn how to slip stitch, hem, blind hem, you get some insight on picking out a sewing machine, they tell you the tools you need in order to have sewing as a hobby or business. You learn little crafts as well as HOME DECOR section for all you home decor gurus. I actually whipped out this book when putting in my first set of sleeves. Soooooooo, please do not think twice about this book it is a great
This is an easy to read and understand book for anyone who sews. I have sewed for years and still learned new things. I gave one to my daughter to start her sewing and it is basic without being insulting. Buy this book for yourself or a friend.

Whether you are just beginning to sew or are an expert, you will find tons of helpful information. Written in an easy to understand manner without overexplaining. If you think you know everything about sewing, this book will prove you wrong. And if you know nothing about sewing, this book is like a bible. Get it and read the whole thing before your next sewing project.
