An excellent introduction to Japanese classic cinema, Seven Samurai is one of the best films ever made. Akira Kurasawa was a master at visual story telling.Even if you know little about Japanese culture and history, the story can be followed with ease. Many westerns borrowed from Kurasawa, and vice-versa. So this film should appeal to a broad audience. I can't recommend it too highly!!

One fo the all time great movies, You need this for your library. So many movies have been made using this as base. Filmed in Black and white, is so meaningful, I highly recommend this to everyone
