The sea of superficially similarly styled bands like Sense Fail has made it difficult for even a veteran act like that one stand out. To do so, the Jersey quintet has stuck to their guns and simply out-written and outplayed their competition. Instead of trying to scream louder or shred faster than the rest, they`ve focused on fine-tuning their songcraft, resulting in the soaring choruses and desperate melodies of songs like the hard-charging "Lungs Like Gallows" and "Wolves At the Door."
