This is the version I grew up with~ Albert Finney rocks as Ebeneezer Scrooge, and I love the music and Mrs. Cratchett is great! I love this version and would reccommend it to any one!

Wonderful, musical adaptation of the Dickens classic. Albert Finney is fabulous as the old miser Scrooge!

Watching this musical is a Christmas tradition in my family. It's nice having it on DVD now.

Once you get used to the story as a musical, it's surprisingly good. There is a certain wit to the writing and the performances by a cast of generally unknown actors and actresses is not bad at all.

Good music, funny, definitely a classic! I recommend it to all who like good old musicals.

This is my favorite version of A Christmas Carol because of the songs. "Thank You Very Much" makes me laugh each time I hear it. Since my videotapes are packed away, I hadn't seen it for a while. Now, I can see it again whenever I want. It's one of my annual views at Christmas time. If you haven't seen it, consider adding it to your wish list.

This is a movie we love to watch every Christmas but only had it on VHS. I couldn't find it in any store but I found it on O.co. Very pleased. This is a great musical version of A Christmas Carol, I highly recommend it.

I saw this as a kid and still think it is the very best version of this story!!! I recommend it for the whole family! The music is wonderful. We watch it every year and used to watch it on vcr until I purchased the DVD this year. You will not be disappointed! Enjoy!

One of our Christmas traditions is sitting down with the family and watching one of many versions of Charles Dickens' story A CHRISTMAS CAROL. This is one of our favs! Yes it is a musical, but not a totally corny one. The lyrics to the songs are great, and the story doesn't stray from the original story line. Sir Alec Guiness makes a great dead Marley, and the kid actors are good. Albert Finney makes a great miserable old Scrooge--you really will enjoy it.
