  My son is really into anything about animals, reptiles, etc. The only way I can get him to read is by getting him items such as this. He currently has a subscription to Natl Geo for Kids and this is a great compliment to those magazines. This is not a paperback. It is more like a magazine but the cover is much sturdier than a thin magazine cover.

  My son is 10 years old and loves this series of books. Very creative and informative. The included poster is great to hang on his wall and presented in a concise and "captivating" way for a sometimes reluctant reader.
