Its a great second book in the trilogy! I would recommend this to friends but shipping took a bit longer than expected.
Book came in great condition. For some reason it took forever to arrive after it shipped. But the product was in great condition can't complain, it eventually arrived.
I've never been a book fan and hate to sit still long enought to read anything. I only just started reading this book. The first chapter draws you in to meet the characters in a very intimate way so you get the feeling you are in the story with them, just like peeking into an adjoining office and seeing what is taking place. I can't wait to start the next chapter and see where the adventure will lead me! I'll admit the only reason I ordered it was that I saw someone talking about it on tv, and saw the author on a daytime show. I was curious, so I jumped ahead to view a few pages into the story. Wow! Wow! Wow!! My husband keeps asking when are you to read the book??? I think he is hoping it will spice up our marriage. We'll see.
I was very pleased with this story, and with the narrator. It was well-crafted with an unusual and suspenseful story line. The love story between the protaganist and the man in her life was a grounded counterpoint to the horrific circumstances of Abigail/Liz's life.
The story line was a little slow in the beginning, however it picked up and I couldn't put the book down!! Nicholas Sparks seems to always captivate and keep my attention!!
