Let me start off by saying that you won't find Dungeon Command in Target, Walmart, or even Toys R Us. The most likely reason for this is that the game is simply new and not a lot of people know about it (the first two sets were released back in 2012). There are now a total of 5 factions available. There are a total of 12 creatures in this set and they are very detailed compared to many miniature toys. The set itself has enough for 2 players to play against each other, but this is considered a quick match. A full match requires two separate sets or factions for each player. The game itself is very fun; it's a combination of Dungeons And Dragons and Magic The Gathering without the dice so player creativity, quick thinking, and skills are emphasized. At its current price, this is a must have for beginners and veterans!

This book is a supplement for Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition (Wizards of the Coast). As such if you are not interested in the DND 4E ruleset you won't want this book. If you are interested in 4E, this is a excellent supplement with more options for all characters (yes it focuses on the Martial Power Source like the name implies).

Check out my review for Blood of Gruumsh for an introduction to Dungeon Command. This is a good faction set; the miniatures are as detailed as the ones in Blood of Gruumsh. But I only have some minor complaints: why do undead have charisma as a characteristic? I found it strange and out of place for a ghost and a lich to have CHA (CHA is for leadership and social influence). And the box has places for the miniatures; some of these places are too tight so you have to use your nails to try and pry out some of the more detailed miniatures. I already have a couple of scratches on the base (does someone have a better way to get them out?).

The product itself is fantastic! Great adventures, a lot of fun. My only complaint is how long it takes to receive an item from Overstock.

My friends and I love getting together for a fun night of drinks, Reese's, and D&D! This game is great! The only complaint I have isn't related to the game, but is related to overstock. We preordered the game, and it was shipped same day it was released (woohoo!). Unfortunately it took over two weeks for the package to get from overstock to my home. That's just ridiculous.

The game was a Christmas gift and all other websites carried the same thing for $80-$100 or more. Overstock price was $$$$. You can't beat that especially at Christmas. The product arrived in a box that had a huge fist sizes hole punched in the side but the contents inside were umdamaged.

Nothing weird here. I sent them money, they sent me a book; that's more or less what I expected. The book was fine, since it was printed just recently. There really wasn't any way to mess this up.
