I will go so far to say that Lords of Waterdeep is the most enjoyable Eurostyle game that I have played in a very very long time. Lords of Waterdeep is a Eurostyle game (worker placement specifically) for people who aren't fans of Euros in that it is a very quick to teach and play, has actual player interaction elements (the Intrigue cards), and has elements of luck in the quests drawn, the intrigue cards drawn, and the building tiles that show up throughout the game. Heavy spreadsheet non interaction, non random element fans need not apply. The core spaces of this game will always be the same as they are spaces on the board provided. Which helps make the game quite easy to teach. Each player is one of the Lords of Waterdeep and has hidden agendas (normally a focus on two of the four quest types) that can help them dramatically in end game scoring. In the beginning of the game, each player is given two starting quests that require one or more of the five resource types (represented as colored cubes - sans gold). Players get a number of agents, from 2 to 5 to deploy on the board for which give them resources, intrigue cards, quest cards, allow them to purchase buildings, or to play intrigue cards. Quests cost resources to complete but reward with victory points, resources, or other abilities. Higher point quests typically reward only victory points, lower point quests reward with victory points and other items. Waterdeep Harbor allows 1-3 agents deployed there to play intrigue cards. After all agents are deployed, Waterdeep Harbor allows a second deployment of the agents there to other unoccupied locations. Which is quite a fun mechanic that shakes things up as being able to play both an intrugue card early and to redeploy for additional resources late allows for different strategies to be employed. What are intrigue cards? There are three basic types, those that hurt one other players resources, those that help the player alot and one other chosen player a little, and one that helps everyone to different degrees. There are also instant quests that can be played on another player. These particular quests are easy to complete but must be completed before any other quest by that player. Lords of Waterdeep is fast and is about as fun as a Euro can be. I haven't met a group that likes Euros or dislikes Euros that hasn't liked this game. Give it a try!

With the bevy of options and features now available in cell phones, it's easy to find one perfect for you. Before you begin searching for your next cell phone, take the time to think about what you need your phone to do. Below, you'll learn the best cell phone features. Camera: Cell phone cameras can be quite handy when you happen upon a special moment without a regular digital camera on hand. Most camera phones don't take very high-resolution (usually 1.3 megapixel) pictures, but there are some that top out over 3 megapixels. Some cell phone cameras even have small flashes. If you want a camera phone, find out if it comes with the cable and software to connect to your computer, so you don't have to spend extra for a separate program. Video: Usually, camera phones that play video will also record video. Some non-camera cell phones also play video. Look to see if you can transfer movies from your phone to your computer. Web browsing: Many cell phones let you connect to the Internet. Most use Wireless Access Protocol (WAP), which allows the phone to connect to pages specifically designed for cell phones. There are many phones with full browsers, however, that allow you to view regular Web pages. Bluetooth: Bluetooth is a technology that allows you to transfer data wirelessly between devices. Wireless cell phone headsets use this technology, and it can also be used to transfer pictures, ringtones and other data between two cell phones or between cell phones and computers. Games: There are cell phones out there that have been designed with the gamer in mind, allowing you to download games that would compare to those found on a personal gaming system. Office software: Most cell phones feature some sort of a calendar and alarm. You can set a wake-up alarm or you can make it alert you for your next appointment. Other phones allow you to make notes for each appointment. Some let you create documents that can be transferred to your computer's word processor or spreadsheet. MP3 player: More and more cell phones are also MP3 players. Check to see if you need special headphones for listening (and if they're included), and pay attention to the phone's memory capacity. Memory expansion: Some phones, usually video or MP3 player phones, feature memory card slots, so you can save pictures, music or other files on removable flash memory. Voice dialing: If you absolutely have to use your cell phone while driving, you'll want one with voice dialing. The phone recognizes the contact you speak and places the call, allowing you to keep your eyes where they belong: on the road. Buy Cell Phones Back to Guides Directory Buy Cell Phones
Although the simple act of popping a vitamin will not produce an immediate energy boost, some vitamins help the body more efficiently process food, which can create more energy. The B vitamins are known as energy vitamins. If you consume the right amount of B vitamins, you can experience a boost in your energy levels and improve your overall health. You can get your B vitamins by consuming more meat, beans and potatoes. You can also find B vitamin supplements or choose a multivitamin with a comprehensive variety of B vitamins. To understand how B vitamins help the body more efficiently produce energy, take a look at how energy is created. The food you eat is broken down into usable components. When the body needs energy, glycogen is released and converted into energy. Vitamin B1. Vitamin B1, also known as thiamine, is essential to the break-down of carbohydrates, alcohols and fat. Vitamin B2, also known as riboflavin, is part of the electron transport chain that converts the carbohydrates into energy. The recommended dosage for an adult is between 1.3 milligrams and 1.7 milligrams per day. Vitamin B3. Vitamin B3, or niacin, helps the body with several functions, including digestion and toxin removal. Niacin also helps convert carbohydrates into energy. In addition, niacin creates starch that can be stored for energy later. The recommended dosage for an adult is between 13 milligrams and 19 milligrams per day. Vitamin B6. Vitamin B6, or pyroxidine, is known as the heart-protecting vitamin, and it also boosts energy. Pyroxidine plays a major role in the breakdown of proteins that get turned into energy. Vitamin B6 also helps regulate mood and behavior, which can help you feel more energetic. The recommended dosage for an adult is between 1.6 milligrams and 2 milligrams per day. Vitamin B12. Vitamin B12, also known as cobolamin, is a famous energy vitamin. B12 is required for the production of red blood cells, and it is also necessary for normal cell metabolism. The recommended dosage for adults is 2 micrograms per day. Pregnant women, however, should get 3 micrograms of vitamin B12 per day.
