Childhood memory
I had forgotten about this film and was very happy to see it was being given a first-class Criterion release on DVD. The extras are good, but I would have enjoyed a 'making of' film documentary and more on the music for extras. The song is a bit scary, but fun ;) I am not sure why this film stuck in my mind and in those of friends all these years, but it still holds up as entertaining and pretty accurate to the science.

Robinson Crusoe on Mars Criterion DVD
The synopsis of the "Robinson Crusoe on Mars" Criterion DVD is true word for word. this is probably one of the best movies finally released on DVD that you have never heard of. although released 43 years ago and many poor copies shown on the SciFI Channel and A&E Channel, the quality of the video is stunning. true crisp DVD sharpness. the audio is mono but also has been cleaned up and enhanced as well. the additional features included on the disc only enhance this forgotten gem. it is a serious movie that presents itself seriously, but is a very human adventure in the tradition of the great classic films. if you are a fan or collector of good science fiction, then you have no option but to purchase this wonderful classic movie. thats my opinion, enjoy!!!
