If you've seen Braveheart, and you liked it, then you'll love Rob Roy!! My boyfriend told me this was one of his all time time favorite movies and I had never even heard of it. Looked everywhere for it, locally, and it couldn't be found. Of course, he found it here on Overstock and we ordered it. The shipping was fast and the day it arrived, he decided that night was "movie date night". I am a HUGE fan of Braveheart and I have to say, Rob Roy is now up there in my top 20 movies of all time. I would highly recommend it.....

this is an awesome movie for young and old adults. however it is too violent for most preteens. there is a story line that will fill the needs of a vast majority of movie goers.

This movie is in my TOP 5 BESTall time movies. If you like Liam Neeson, you will LOVE him in this. If you don't like Jessica Lange, you will love her in this, too! Fantastic acting, scenery, music, excitement, and the most beautiful love story of all time. It is graphic in some scenes and not for children. I usually can only watch a movie one time, two at the most. I have seen this at least a dozen times if not more, it's that good.

Wonderful DVD. Highly recommend this movie. Bit violent in places, but then again, that is how it was at that time and place. The glue to the story is the relationship between Mary and Rob Roy. Don't miss this if you haven't seen it, and it you have seen it, see it again.
