We got this to use with the Sega Bass Fishing and found it was way to hard to use. It is much easier to use the buttons on the controler. When you try to reel, the handle hangs up and doesn't turn easily. You lose too many fish just trying to reel in.

When we tried to use this it blocked the sensor on the remote, so we were unable to use this product.

The WII fishing rod is great and is a must for any WII fishing game. However, the packaging is not very good. Cheap, plain cardboard packaging that was easily crushed during shipping. Item was loose inside but luckily arrived in good condition.

Although the fishing rod is great in your hands. I found that the actual plastic construction not to be that thick. Care should be taken when reeling in your fish! Like most of the products out there for the Wii, I find they are "cute" but not necessary for realism of the game.
