Excellent Vocab Builder
This book is an excellent vocabulary builder. I thought of it because I had it as a child. I got it for my daughter when she was 15 months because she is always pointing to things in books wanting to know what they are.... so I figured why not learn useful things rather than just animals shapes and whatever are in her story books. The loves it! She is now 21 months and still takes it out everyday... either she points and I speak or I ask where is --- and she will point it out. I bought this book also for my nephew for his 2nd birthday... hopefully he will like it as much as she does. Later it is a good book because everything is labeled so when they know what the picture is they can look at the word underneath to sound it out/learn the spelling/reading that sort of thing.

Richard Scray's Best Word Book Ever
This is a true classic. It should be in every childs home library. I had this book when I was a child and loved it! Bought it for my kids and they loved it! Just bought it for my niece and she loves it! Simple easy words, great pictures, just so much to look at.

This is an outstanding book for young children and parents to share. It provides the child a multitude of interesting topics and words to learn. It is a book you can pick up and turn to any page and find something new to talk about. I find this book a great gift for new babies and their parents. It will set them on the road for good reading and word skills that will lead them to fun facts to know and to relate to the world around them.
