  • Easy reading

    This author knows how to cleverly use language. A bit slow getting into anything meaty. I am now only into Chapter 3 and waiting to be engaged enough to care. I have read the earlier Sullivan's Island and really enjoyed that. Hoping for improvement.

    I JUST FINISHED READING HER FIRST BOOK ;SULLIVAN'S ISLAND; AND SO IT WAS GREAT TO HAVE THIS RIGHT BEHIND TO SEE HOW THE DAUGHTER'S LIFE DEVELOPES.....I LOVE THIS AUTHOR AND HER THEME OF LOW COUNTRY TALES OF FAMILY SAGAS......I LOVE CHARLESTON AND THE ISLANDS AND LIKE THAT MANY OF THE PLACES I HAVE EATEN OR KNOW ARE IN THE BOOK:-)....FRANK WRITES SO THAT YOU FALL RIGHT INTO HER STORIES....I HAVE READ EVERY ONE OF HER TITLES ON THE BEACH THIS SUMMER!!! AND HAVE LOANED MY COPIES TO MY FRIENDS WHO ASKED TO BORROW:-)
