This workout is very thorough, but can still be done by beginners. I am an advanced exerciser, yet still felt the effects of this workout. Well-cued, and although only 30 minutes, I was ready for it to end when it did, as I felt spent, but good!
This is a tough workout that leaves my abs burning even after years of doing it. Our old DVD just cracked and I am buying a new one just because I love this workout so much. I also own Pilates for Dummies and Anna Caban's DVD, but this Rael one is the hardest, best workout of the three. I take it on travel and when I am too tired to hit the hotel gym, or the hotel has a lousy gym, I just throw the bedspread on the floor of my room and do Rael.
This is a fantastic pilates dvd. It is pretty easy to follow if you have a basic understanding of pilates. They really show you how to do each move correctly, and it gives you a GREAT workout!
