My daughter-in-law is not a full-fledged gamer as my son is, so I wanted her to slowly get into the groove. Introducing her to the retro style games was just the trick. She loves the way the movements are sort of slow and jerky as compared to the updated games. It helps to create more skill and a lot more fun. She loves it, and I enjoyed goin back in time to some of my old favorites as well. Thanks a bunch.
I have a 7-year old girl who really wanted a nice handheld game for Christmas (like a Nintendo DS or PSP). However, she's not one who is gentle with toys. She also doesn't need the superior graphics. So after some research, I discovered the Retrogen which supports the once popular Sega Genesis games. It's durable and much less pricey. It can also be played on the TV with single cable that is included .The only downside is that the games are no longer produced. Therefore, you can only purchase used games. However, the used games typically range from $2 to $30 -again perfect pricing for what I want to give my daughter.
