This book is excellent for the beginning quilter and experienced quilters also. It has the fundamentals in plain language and even has some projects that I am anxious to try. My daughter, an experienced quilter, has found a pattern that she wants to try out of the book too. I would recommend this book for any beginning quilter. The ordering process was very easy and I was quite pleased with the way the order was handled.

Excellent book for beginners and new quilters. Well laid out and easy to read as all of the "dummies" books seem to be. If you learned from your Mother or Grandmother there are explanations for "why" quilters do certain things a certain way. It helps me to know why I have to do something, like you don't use a steam iron on cotton fabric during the sewing process, and other little things. Recommend it for beginners and those that are "almost intermediate" quilters.
