Season two finds Schofield and Burrows on the run with several other escapees central to the plot. With all the twists and turns, what I love about this show is that it is able to tie the central plot and subplots together. One would think that once they escaped a series like this would be over. However, as they dig deeper into the plot and as new characters are brought into the fray, it is discovered that the situation brings our two brothers into a deep pit of corruption and murder that goes all the way up to the White House! This may be too intense for children but for drama and suspense lovers, you'll enjoy both seasons. This is easily one of the best shows of its kind on television. I'd highly recommend starting with season one to get the full backdrop into all the characters and how they were able to make the fated prison break in season one. You'll love it as much as I did.
My young adult sons and husband had been lobbying for the 2nd season and it was just too expensive at the local mall, so when I found it on overstock we ordered it right then! It arrived in just a few days and now we are looking forward to the 3rd season to come out on DVD. It is not a show I woul share with a younger audience. Too much adult content for the wee ones.
