Primus spent nearly an entire year in support of their breakthrough SAILING THE SEAS OF CHEESE release, so to keep longtime fans satisfied, the trio issued the five-track EP MISCELLANEOUS DEBRIS in 1992. Comprised entirely of cover tunes, MISCELLANEOUS DEBRIS catches the trio at their loosest and most fun. Highlights include great covers of XTC`s "Making Plans for Nigel" and the Meters` "Tippi Toes." MISCELLANEOUS DEBRIS would not be the last time Primus covered their favorite artists, as evidenced by the 1998 release RHINOPLASTY.
