As an English major, the Austen library was practically a graduation requirement. I've always enjoyed the story of the Bennet sisters, and was pleasantly surprised at how truly engaging the zombie additions really were. There is now zombie mayhem within nearly every paragraph, but not in an off-putting way. Seth Grahame-Smith does an excellent job of weaving in his allusions seamlessly, and you will be surprised at how the zombies seem to always have been part of Austen's vision. Also, the illustrations of Elizabeth killing zombies make for excellent conversation starters with the strangers who will inevitably be reading over your shoulder on the subway.
