I have a family of competitive swimmers. We all enjoyed this movie immensely. It is a great story base on true events. Although there is much racial adversity faced by the characters it is very inspirational. There are not too many movies about competitive swimming. My 9 year old daughter pointed out there were a few bad words, but even my 5 year old liked the swim meet scenes where there were races going on.

My 7 year old son and I watched this movie together, we both enjoyed it. Loved the fact that it was based on a true story. Really teaches one about pride and determination.
