Snagged this up to try and hook an older xbox 360 without hdmi to a pc monitor. Ghosting made it unusable in any resolution but the lowest (640x480). Ended up just hooking it back up to the tv with the component cable for a beautiful 1080p. It was a waste for me, but if it is a must have for you overstock will get it to you quickly and it works, but hard to say it is adequate for anyone.

Our son needed a VGA capble so he could connect his XBOX to his computer monitor.We went to Gamestop,Best Buy , Radio Shack,etc.No one had the cable Gamestop stocked them but it was too far away & 3x's as what we paid for here on O.co .Works great Flat Screen monitor crystal clear reception.

The only con I can tell you about is that the audio cables are too short for my taste but I'd recommend this to my friends any day.

I currently have a 24" monitor with many different inputs. I was using the original component connection and I decided that I wanted to buy a VGA cable for better image quality. I thought this was an official Microsoft cable that was just really cheap, which I guess I should of picked up on. It's cheap for a reason. THIS CABLE IS NOT AN OFFICIAL MICROSOFT PRODUCT AND HAS TERRIBLE IMAGE QUALITY. It has horrible ghosting and is very blurry. I know that the official Microsoft VGA cable is high quality because my friend is using one. Do not buy this cable if you think it's an official Microsoft product and do not buy this cable because you just want something cheap that will do the job. It completely pointless connecting your xbox to a high definition monitor when the image will be extremely blurry and has quadruple ghosting. BUY AN OFFICIAL MICROSOFT CABLE. This was my first purchase from Overstock.com and I can say that my opinion of them is not a good one. Why would they even sell a product this terrible?

Connection with console is unnatrual, too tight, the image is poor with ghost imaging and contrast problem.

However this product should include the two female VGA ports to 3.5mm audio plug. There is no monitor out there that can plug in VGA audio.At least pair this product with the adapter

Ok so first the price is amazing but the important part is the quality. The picture quality is great and it works just fine. Though the cord could be longer and the audio connection could certainly be longer but thats fine. If your looking for a VGA cable for your Xbox 360 and don't have a lot of cash, this is the cable for you.

If you're looking at this review, you probably know what this item is and have a monitor input to hook your Xbox 360 to. Positives: Overstock's price is unbeatable, the VGA connection is solid, and the cable has an optical out to connect it to a receiver. Negatives (all specific to the VGA adaptor, NOT overstock.com): the cord is relatively short, the audio cables at the end are worthless because they extend less than a foot (making an optical cable OR A/V extension cables a necessity for most people). Bottom Line: if you want to hook your xbox 360 to a monitor or Hi Def TV, this is an excellent option. Just be prepared for the horrible audio connector design.

i would write a better review,,, but the darn thing does not work....

this cable is a must have if you dont have a big HDTV but you do have a flat screen monitor. i have a dell 22" widescreen monitor and the xbox looks great on it. the picture clarity is perfect and im not even using the highest resolution! the only negative is the small audio lines.

I didn't know that it was a 3rd party, but it is still great. Great quality, quick response, exactly what I wanted from it.
