Not very realistic!!
This book was overly utilitarian for me!!! And not very useable. The advice given would wear even the most devoted parent out!! I'm all for finding a way to discipline children in a positive way and to try to be an "understanding" parent, but there are times, especially with safety issues, your toddler needs to listen with out redirection or five minutes of trying to say no in a "nice way". I would suggest the book "How To Say No To Your Toddler- 9 Months through 3 Years" (if this is the age you are looking for).
