Pool Stick for Wii
 from Michigan,  Feb 17, 2008

The stick is ok but the remote sometimes won't work because it doesn't have a clear site of the sensor your hand gets in the way.

pool stick
from Newport, NC,  Jan 30, 2008

it's a really neat way for my kids to play the pool game. make sure the wii sensor is a little lower b/c you use a real pool stick at waist level or lower.

This is one of the few useful accessories of this kind for the Wii that I have. I love the pool games and this makes the game easier to play, more realistic, and actually doesn't take up that much space to store as it is not the same size of a real pool stick. Don't buy the bundles. You really only need this and the steering wheel for most games, with the exception of the music games and the target practice games.

Not worth it
 from MD,  Apr 9, 2008

The WII Pool sticks are useless. The way the stick is designed it block the signal and makes playing pool impossible. No wonder they were discounted on Overstock. I made the mistake of ordering two thinking they would be a good idea.

Wii Pool cue
from Idaho Falls, ID,  Mar 29, 2008

Poorly designed...when placing the remote into the cue and trying to use it as such the hand up higher on the cue blocks the infrared light from reaching the sensor.

Pool Stick woes
 Mar 25, 2008

I found that using the pool stick was very upsetting. Because the Wii remote is placed in the handle of the cue from below. Sometimes the infared sensor doesn't pick up the movement of the cue especially if the sensor is placed high (i.e on top of a big screen or as in my case on top of the mantle under a wall mounted tv.) It seemed like a good purchase, but my friends and I found ourselves playing without the cue. It's also pretty akward to play with if you don't have a table top to place it on mimicking a pool table or something to that effect.

Creates an experience
from Greenville, NC,  Jan 13, 2008

Makes Wii pool more fun and realistic. My 13 year old got a kick out of it and enjoys pool more with it than without it.
