We read this book to all of our grandchildren--even one in another state! We read it to him over the Internet via a web cam and It's so fun to watch his face as grandma reads and grandpa makes the animal sounds! We love it so much we bought extra copies to give away!

My sons' school uses this book in his classroom. While they don't understand the words, they identify the pictures of the animals and like to sing the song. This version is a little more exotic than the Brown Bear version which uses more domesticated animals. I would get this after they have mastered "Brown Bear, Brown Bear".
Again I bought the small board book which is easier for them to handle by themselves and lasts longer.
