I got this for my daughter and son-in-law for Christmas as theirs had broken. It was a very good deal, made even better by the Club O rewards I was able to use. The game system has been holding up well for gaming and accessing their Netflix account. It's survived their 3 roommates and a move and is still working fine.

PS3 is the best video game console now. It's easy to setup. I just need to hook up power line and HDMI cable. The initial configuration of the console was very user friendly. There are so many things I can do. I can play games, watch DVD and Blueray, get streamlined movies and TV shows in Netflix. I don't need separate wireless LAN. It's all built in it. I can connect to internet, chat with people, etc. There are areas I am not so satisfied. I wish there were memory card readers like the old PS3 console. I believe the old model is discontinued and this feature is disabled for a purpose(?). I want to watch movies downloaded from the computer but not all the movie format will work. Also the captions(*.smi) will not work unless you encode it into the movie itself. Overall I am satisfied. It's hard to get a product which carries this much value for this price.

Ordered the ps3 with 2 - 4 shipping. ordered it tuesday, received on thursday. Everything in the box was in perfect, working order. I hooked it up, set up my online account, and then started watching a blue ray. EPIC!!!

Bought this for a Christmas gift for my wife, she already has xbox and has found this to be more enjoyable because of the different options. Very easy to set up and begin playing. The bluray is an extra added bonus.

Excellent product...should have bought this a long time ago.

The images are great and setting up was a breeze. It's just a bit dissapointing that this unit does not play ANY PS2 games! We'll probably keep the PS2 around for awhile until we build a PS3 library. This is the only reason I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

I know everyone on here is goin "OMG best console ever!!!!" but let me give you a fair and balanced review of this console.... Pros) Good graphics, free live service, Good exclusives, Web Browser, Large Online Shop. Cons) free live service, now i list that as a con cus of the "Free" aspect, since its free sony has put very minimal effort into the live service, resulting in laggy gameplay, server disruptions, poor menu setups for online enabled games, not a very streamlined system sony has. its comparable to mmos, think of it like this, theres WoW, subscription based mmo, very well put together, constant new content, blah blah blah, then theres Gates of Andaron, basically exact same game, but not as well put together, why? money... costs money to make stuff good... Good Graphics... well minecraft has damn near 8-bit graphics but hundred of thousands of people play that... Good exclusives... well thats debatable, on one hand you have final fantasy 13 versus for ps3, but then you have minecraft on the 360... DC universe online (lol) and ffxiv (LOL) for ps3, and then you have the secret world for 360, which looks fairly decent for a console mmo... not to mention the fact that bethesda is giving 360 their skyrim DLC a month ahead of schedule. then you have the web browser, ill give you that, microsoft needs to include a web browser on the 360, but giving the fact the ps3 weighs 2lbs heavier than a 360 you would expect them to have more stuff in it... Then the shop, sony's made games longer, so of course theres gonna be more games on the shop, but xbox live arcade games in my opinion are more fun than 80% of ps1 titles... so hey, its a trade off. i have both a ps3 and a 360, and im on my 360 more to be honest, the controller feels better, i can find my friends, and join their games easier, its just a better game console, ps3 is more powerful, but i personally do not care... oh and one last thing... 360s cant be hacked by an 8 year old kid in china... i wouldnt risk identity theft for little big planet 3... just my 2 cents...
