I love Jodi Picoult's books. This one disappointed me just a little in that, about halfway into the book, it just dragged along. The appearance of Coop as Ellie's love interest seemed too fabricated. It didn't really advance the main story. I really wanted to tell him to go away and let the story continue. All that said, I still enjoyed the book, and kept reading through the slow parts. I'm in awe of how Picoult manages to twist a plot every which way but loose. Each of her books contains an element of horror, in that it's horrific to imagine living through the main conflict. This one is no exception.
I enjoyed this book very much. It was very interesting to learn how the Amish live. To wrap it up, it was an informational murder mystery!
Have only started book. Believe it will be far better than Tenth Circle. Have heard I will enjoy it as much as My Sister's Keeper and Nineteen Minutes (awesome books)
