Description:
The Creed family moves into a beautiful old Maine home, unaware that it is built next to an ancient burial ground of the Micmac Indian Tribe. Now home to a pet cemetery, the animals that are buried atop the sacred grounds have a habit of returning to life, with a terrible lust for blood. Many believe this novel to be King's most horrifying work.

Customer Reviews
The movie really scared me as a kid and I was hoping the book would do the same thing. It started off great because I knew what would eventually come, but I couldn't help but wonder, with it taking so many pages (well over 100) for him to set up the scene, would I still even be giving this book a chance had I not seen the movie? Probably not. There was too much detail in the small stuff for my taste and when it did pick up, the book was over.
