Surviving Henry Adventures in Loving a Canine Catastrophe by Erin Taylor Young I LOVED this book. Henry is a boxer with endless energy. It was refreshing to hear the antics of others peoples pets. I found the author Erin Taylor Young, to be quite funny and found myself laughing so hard I cried. In all Henry’s antics he was still loveable, reminds me of a kid with ADHD. Always into something but never with a malice heart. Okay, first, this is for cat people. Cat people who do not sentimentalize, but see felines for what they are: small, furry mammals who have a hunter instinct, a strong streak of independence, and are really far more like humans than dogs or anything else (except maybe chimps). The poems are eloquent, sly, literate, and very, very funny. I makes a great gift/stocking gift and has so much more value than any number of "cute" books. The writer (Francesco Marciuliano) has done two comparable collections. One about dogs. Bleah.

Book is in excellent condition. Very excited about reading this. My little angel dog went to heaven over 2 years ago. I miss him very much and hope to grieve less after reading this.
