Recorded in Hollywood`s renowned Amoeba Music record store at a free 2007 show, AMOEBA`S SECRET presents Sir Paul McCartney performing two tunes from his well-received MEMORY ALMOST FULL album--a rollicking version of "Only Mama Knows" and a jaunty take on "That Was Me." The EP-length release also throws a Wings song--the breezy, reggae-tinged "C Moon"--into the mix, and closes with a return to Macca`s early Fab Four days with a lively rendition of "I Saw Her Standing There." Though some fans may be dismayed at SECRET`s brevity, given McCartney`s prolific output of the era--MEMORY, the Fireman`s ELECTRIC ARGUMENTS--there`s little to complain about and much to enjoy in this quartet of fine concert tracks.
