If you are someone who has not yet had the opportunity to travel to the European countries you dream about, Samantha Brown's "Passport to Europe" series is just the thing you need. Her pleasant demeanor, her touch of whimsy and her appealing personality make her the perfect travel guide. There is no Hollywood drama in this series, no "trendy info" that you can get elsewhere and nothing that the entire family can't sit down and enjoy. You feel like you are walking alongside her on her journeys. A particularly valuable plus to this series is that Ms. Brown covers all aspects of her travels. She covers cost of lodging, what to see, why to see it and places you might want to avoid. And she does it all without being offensive or insulting. I am so happy that these DVDs are available now and I would recommend them to anyone who even has the slightest interest in European culture. Enjoy!

This DVD is actually from a show on Travel Channel. I loved the show and ordered the episodes. Samantha Brown (the host) really gives you insight about wherever she visits. For example, she goes into best places to shop, stay (hotels), sights, and restaurants. i just like how its not a documentary but it feels like a friend is showing you around town.
