PSP - Tactics Ogre:Let Us Cling Together - By Square Enix

I bought this game because I am a fan of the Tactics Ogre series, and I have a copy of the original game on the Playstation. I'll get the criticisms right out of the way; the three things I dislike about the game most are the music, the chariot tarot feature and the poorly written dialogue. In my opinion, the music was better in the original game, and it didn't get too much like the stereotypical RPG. The dialogue is VERY bland. I miss the colorful language because it doesn't sound like the people were living in the 12th century. Regarding the chariot tarot, I just feel like that is a way to cheat. Again, as a veteran of the series, that is just my opinion; however, it opens the game up to new players and gives them a chance to make up for their mistakes. I did give the game a very good review though. The original developers made the game, and they are some of the best developers ever. My favorite thing about the game is that the class system does NOT place restrictions on militia members based on their sex; this means a male character can become a cleric, and a female charater can become a knight. I have wondered when they would do that, and now they have. Also, the game has some new things in it, along with some parts of the story that will surprise people who have played the original. You can even take your own screenshots, which is cool. It also plays the same way, and the character sprites look exactly the same, although this game is much more forgiving than the original; sometimes, that is a very good thing. For the most part, I am very pleased with the game. I highly recommend this game, especially to those who have been playing strategy games for years. This game is a GEM, and you must have it in your collection. Review is 5/5.
