I have the rechargeable PSP grip & the Powerbrick & I prefer to use this when playing on the road (plane). Makes playing much more comfortable & accurate - no missed shots because it slipped out of your hands & reduces fatique. Collapses for easy packing too. Downside is it doesn't attach that securely to the PSP so sometimes you accidentally collapse & pop it out. Also, the charger plug is kind of loose so that pops out a lot. Lastly, better off w/ the Logitech hard case to use as a stand to watch movies & have to take out of the grip. Overall, though, really like it for those long plane rides.
I found this item to be great for support of my PSP for my hands, it stopped the cramping I get when playing for long periods of time. The battery charging was good too played for hours. The down side was the tabs that support the PSP don't fold down and I broke one off
i have charged this thing for a whole day and it is not supplying any added battery life. Maybe I just got a dud, I dont know. The grip is a great idea. If you just get that than its worth the investment.
Although the extra battery life does not seem to last as long as advertised, it does provide a longer playing experience. The grip feels much more natural than just holding the PSP by itself, which results in longer playability with less hand cramping. Since this only works for the old style PSP, and the speakers reside on the bottom of the unit, the grip provides some clearance when resting it against something so that the sound comes out crisp and clear. Overall, it's a little clunky and cheap-feeling, but worth it.
This came with no instructions on how to charge it, or how to access the 6 hour battery. When it's plugged into the PSP, the battery still goes dead in about 3-4 hours. The "grip" feature was still worth it! It stops hand and thumb pain if you play for long periods.
Great for handling so your hands don't get tired only problem is that it is not a tight fit. So I use the little adapter under grip or use some small rubber bands so you have a tight fit. Great concept and idea.
The PSP Grip is a really great idea but it does not work with the newer, slimmer PSP.
The grip works great as far as making the psp feel like a real controler. It is alot easier to play games if you are used to a console controler. The 6 hour battery does not work up to par though. I think that is the only downfall though. I get good use out of the grip and I still recommend it to anyone with a PSP.
Makes the PSP easier to hold, but it doesn't seat the PSP and hold it in place.
I opened this up and put my PSP into it. Unfortunately, the very cheap plastic prongs that are supposed to hold the PSP fail to do what hey are supposed to. My PSP slipped and slid left and right making it impossible to use. Overall seems to be cheaply made as to the quality. I could not return this quick enough!
This product is great for anyone with a PSP. It makes holding your device easier and your hands don't tire as quickly. I would recommend this accessory for everyone who owns a PSP. I think this product is GREAT!
The PSP Grip with Built in 6-Hour Rechargeable Battery is an excellent accessory that should be given much consideration by anyone who ownes a PSP unit. I purchased three for my sons who each have a PSP and they told me it makes the gaming experience much more comfortable and they loved the fact that they had the six hour battery back-up. By holding the grips it provides more stability in holding the PSP unit and results in the game player being able to play faster and with much more accuracy. In addition I want to thank Overstock for emailing me a buyer's alert so that I was able to purchase three of these units at such a GREAT price!
it is nothing like i was expectin it to be..the handels got no grip..the clips that soposed to hold into the psp are in loose. so when you play hard its moving around alot and very uncomfterball to deal with, i also have agrip for nintendo ds that works great. buy the psp grip if you must its better then nothing..lol
