This game was great and stuck true to the SoulCalibur series. Some of the characters however are just revamped versions of the old characters. For example Amy basically plays as nothing more than a female version of Raphael. However I feel this doesn't take away from the game itself. The guest characters of Darth Vader and his Apprentice (unlockable) are pretty cool additions. Though to use the force you do need to look into the moves list or just experiment with button combos. Also Yoda is not available in the PS3 version of the game, however if you want to spend the money he can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store (for $4.99 as of 12/9/2011). Overall a really fun game to play both by yourself and with a friend.

This is a great fighter series but ultimately the Tekken series is better suited for serious fighting fans. Retaining the "bounce" engine especially for the female fighters is over the top but curiously entertaining. If you had to choose one, get Tekken instead or pick this up for mindless entertainment.
