While a marked improvement from the first game, Assassin's Creed 2 suffers from a number of the same problems the first adventure had. The plot is sloppy, the dialogue ham-fisted and the voice acting is so ridiculously cartoonish in it's attempt to be "authentic" that the main character might as well be wearing a red cap with an M on it. The combat is single button timing based again, and the missions are slightly less repetative. On the plus side assassination is as fun and exhilarating as ever, and they seem to have fixed some of the issues with climbing (though some walls are still soul-crushingingly buggy.) Overall a fun romp through sort-of history and plenty of stabbing to keep you going, but nothing to make you say "Benissimo!"
