The goal of the game is simplistic, or so it seems. Indeed one must only defeat the "monsters." It is the unique way in which these defeats occur and the impact they can have on you that the game becomes sublime. This game is one of the few instances in which the hobby actually creates a work of art. It is deeply emotional, or it can be. While everyone may not be enthralled, I feel that everyone will genuinely enjoy it. If you consider yourself a gamer, buy it. It shows what the medium can achieve. Minimalist, but amazing.

I got this as a gift for my 14 yr old nephew and he really enjoyed it.

This is a good game if you like role playing with only one goal. There is one basic thing to do which is kill the giant monsters. Nothing else. I was hoping it would be more like Myst or something, but it isn't. Value wise, it was probably worth more like $12.00.
