Good music, and 4 disks
Contrary to the description, there are 4 discs, not 3. There are the three main disks and a fourth disk with the complete score on it. (It's called the multimedia disk.) If you're a fan of the music, you should consider buying this box set. If you're not familiar with the music much outside of the movies, I'd recommend buying one of the single disk scores first before you spend this much money on a box set.

Incredible
This is some the best orchestral and choral soundtrack music ever composed. It is, what I would refer to as, the New Classical Music. I gave it a four star rating under the "suitable for all ages", because some of the passages are very intense and dramatic. It could scare a young child, especially if it is played at any considerable volumn. And you will want to play it at a considerable volumn to hear and feel the mood of this beautiful collection. I have the first and second soundtrack and am anxiously awaiting the third. I know I'll love it.

LotR TT EE Soundtrack
This soundtrack was really amazing! It is a great companion piece to the Extended Fellowship Soundtrack and a must have for any true LotR fan!
