My son likes this book, we're just introducing him to the idea of the potty and he loves the book. A little long for his age but overall he likes it.
I love these books. I have one for a little girl that I read to my daughter all the time. She is now six. I keep these books in the bathroom by the potty. I love that shows the parts of the boys and girls bodies. It helps my children relate to the character and realize their gender. The book does help with potty training. It even makes my kids laugh when we read the part of the book that says what the potty is and isn't for.
I have read this book to my son with Down Syndrome. He is very stubborn at 4 years old and just wants nothing to do with potty training. This book would be very helpful if he was more willing!
The video of "Once Upon A Potty" helped when we were potty training our first son, so I bought the book now that we are working on training our 2 yr old. He seems to be responding well.
I came across this book in my ex's box of items from when he was a little boy. His name is Joshua just like the little boy in the book so my daughter thought the book was written about daddy when I read it to her which made it hilarious. But the book is very entertaining even for those without a Josh in their lives. I got my daughter the female version and she still thinks these are the funniest books ever. And it's always good to have your child happy and laughing when they are working at potty training and sometimes feel embarrassed for having accidents.
