I love this little set of books!!!
I had these tiny books as a kid and still have it on my bookshelves today. When my best friend got pregnant and asked everyone for children's books, I knew I had to find these. The author is the same as "Where the Wild Things Are" which is another wonderful book. There are four books included, an alphabet book, a counting book, a learn your months book, and a book called "Pierre" which is about a child who learns that "I don't care!" is a bad idea when he gets eaten by a lion. (Don't worry, both he and the lion are fine!) The tiny size and the cover the books sit in are just adorable. It is a fantastic addition to any baby¿s library and will last for years.

The books are the same as four of the songs on the CD "Rosie" by Carole King. Maurice Sendak's picture characters and words make reading enjoyable for both children and adults.

My childhood favorite lost nothing over time
This little set of books was a favorite of mine as a child, and I had already purchased a set to share with my son. I still enjoy them, and he thinks they're great. This latest purchase was to share with my niece to take on a plane trip. The small size allows parents to easily bring the books along on outings and trips.
