This cookbook was made to enable us to eat the foods we love but at a much lower caloric intake. It's not for everyone. Rocco is a true cook and forgets throughout the entire book that WE are NOT. He uses ingredients that are hard to find for the average person and his recipes arent as EASY for us as he thinks. I love Rocco but I think this book is not for the average cook. The recipes are loaded with salt and he uses sugar substitutes that have been proven to be cancerous, such as Splenda, etc. Again he calls for things that arent in an average grocery store. I couldnt wait to receive my book but after I went through it couldnt have been more disappointed . I'm an average to intermediate cook and I didnt care for the book at all. There are few recipes I was interested in using. The "Better Than Mashed Potatoes" recipe was HORRIBLE and I like cauliflower. I still like Rocco but he needed to take this book down a peg or two for average cooks.Read More
